Scenes from the Banaue Bus-Jeepney-Van Terminal

When our Ohayami Bus arrived from Manila to Banaue, we did not immediately went to its different rice terraces but enjoyed the breathtaking scenes of the little Banaue town rising from her sleep in the early morning.

Some of the foreigners with us checking out the scenes and talking about what to do next from the bus, jeepney and van terminal above the Banaue town.

Short Review of Our Manila to Banawe Ohayami Bus Ride

In my previous article, I talked about our trip from Manila to Banaue aboard a bus unit owned and operated by Ohayami. We actually asked around as to whether the bus transportation company is owned by a a Japanese national but we were told by the bus conductor that Ohayami Trans is actually the reverse spelling of the last name of the bus operator Mr. Rafael Imayaho, a native of Hingyon Ifugao.

Now, why did we take a Ohayami bus from Manila to Banaue when there were other available bus units plying the same route like the Florida bus.

Taking the Ohayami Bus from Manila to Banaue Rice Terraces

I recently accompanied some friends in their vacation / holiday trip to a UNESCO World Heritage Site, the Banaue (alternatively spelled Banawe) Rice Terraces located in the Ifugao Province.

So, I picked up my friends from the Ninoy International Airport and we went to the Ohayami Bus Terminal located at Lacson Avenue, Corner Fajardo Street, Sampaloc, Manila. Below is a sketch or photo as to where Ohayami Transportation Bus Terminal is located as well as their daily bus trip schedules.
