Travel Review: Banaue Tourist Information Center

When we arrived from Manila to Banaue, we visited the Banaue Tourism Information Center which is located a short walk from the Banaue bus terminal and just adjacent to People's Lodge and Restaurant where we were staying.

The Banaue Tourism Information Center is manned by the local government unit's tourism officers who told us what are the best tourist spots and attractions to check out, the location and fees of the most affordable and cheapest lodges, inns and pension houses in Banaue. The tourism officers also showed us Banaue Tour Map
and pointed to us the location of the places that they recommended to us and how far it is from their office and the number of hours and minutes it would take for us to get there.

I was recently informed by friends that the Banaue Tourist Information Center saw some "improvements" from the government. We hope so considering that it was undermanned and its map really needs to be re-drawn or something and the office was really very small with just a little light inside.
